Dear students,<\/p>\n
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Department of Finance at Ming Chuan University. The “Department of Finance” aims to cultivate professionals who are future leaders in banking- and security-related industries.<\/p>\n
The Department of Finance offers three programs, including the undergraduate program and the MS program for full-time as well as part-time students. Our curriculum provides students with the knowledge required to succeed in professional certification examinations such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Risk Management (FRM), and so on. In addition, the Department of Finance has invested considerably in hardware and software to build up a state-of-the-art integrated finance lab for students. This integrated finance lab provides real-time market data and offers students a sophisticated and real-time educational experience. In addition to domain knowledge, the Department of Finance emphasizes teamwork abilities, effective communication skills, global perspective, and intern programs.<\/p>\n
Over the years, the Department of Finance has won many honors and awards, such as awards for excellent student dissertations, as well as the faculty being awarded research grants from Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology. In the future, our department will provide new courses in “Financial Technology” and “CSR” and continue to encourage local Taiwanese students to enhance their interactions with international students to learn from their merits.<\/p>\n
